They say: be prepared to gain a pound a day when you cruising. Well, it would be quite easy to do since there is a wide selection of dining venues on Norwegian Epic, and one needs to have a truly strong will power to stay on the diet! It is hard to avoid a temptation of gastronomic pleasure, however there is still many ways of keeping a healthy eating habits while being onboard.
Norwegian Epic menu includes a large variety of salads and low calorie items that are delicious and highly satisfactory. It’s not so difficult to avoid all the fatty and greasy food, or at least limiting it’s amount.
Another way to keep in shape during your cruise is to increase physical activities. Forget about elevators ! Walk up the stair to 15 th floor several times a day and by the end of cruise you will feel that your gluteus Maximus became more toned! Instead of just laying down by the pool move around: jump in the swim pool, get on a waterside or just walk around the deck.
Norwegian Epic has a lack of a promenade like some other ship, yet there is a walking path on floor 7th, and every morning a walk with an energetic staff member is offered to the passengers.
For those who like burning those extra calories in the gym, Norwegian Epic offers a really impressive facility: newest state of the art machines with amazing view, weight room, separate room for T- Rex training, spacious Aerobic studio – all of that make Norwegian Epic a heaven fir those who want to keep fit while cruising. There is a variety of classes offered, both paid and free of charge. Make sure to sign up right after boarding because spacing is limited.
If you don’t like gym then dance your dessert away! Or do both if you still have any energy left after a day in the port. Get to the fabulous outdoor party or show your moves on the dancing floor in the Epic night lounge! And don’t forget to get to the dancing lessons during a day time, or learn some new moves by the pool with Caribbean band.
And of course make sure you get a maximum activities in ports of call! Go snorkeling, take a walking or biking tour – shore excursion make a cruise truly a life experience!
There is no need to count calories on vacation, just smart choice in choosing what to eat and plenty of activities – and you won’t have a problem fitting in your jeans after coming home from the cruise!
